I know this could be considered dragging up old news but I have just realised how many tooling possibilities there are for these hansome
2-8-0s. There were more companys than most people think who used these locos.
Pregrouping: Great Central and the LNWR
Grouping: GWR, LMS (ex LNWR engines short lived) and LNER
and of course they lasted into nationalisation.
So the options cover 4 pregrouping (2 weathered)
6 Grouping (3 weathered)
5 BR (2 weathered and one as preserved 63601)
so in total there is at least 15 different tooling opertunitie without having to duplicate liverys. Bachmann, Hornby take the hint please

Tom , the old K's kit you could do exactly that with. The kit one has the original fire box too that is a plus for modeling any variant.

Tom, I've made the same argument in N!

I thought Peco's much-rumoured new loco would be an ROD because of the livery variants, but no, they're producing a GWR Collet!

There were rumours that Union Mills might produce an ROD, but I think this is unlikely. Still, I dropped a hint when I bought my J11 a few months back. Colin replied "well you never know!"
