Farish 2008

Post by x568wcn »

The Farish website has been updated in Bachmanns 175th year, and they now have sperate pages for Diesel, and Steam, and the DCC has been updated too to say 6 DCC if it has a 6 pin socket (although the mouse over says 7!) and PCB DCC if it has the printed circuit board.

On the loco front, there is nothing new this year, even in the existing classes of loco, which means 6 locos that were available last year!
Oh and only 2 of the 6 are in LNER livery.

The opinion on the NGauge listserver is that Farish are trying to concentrate on previously announced locos/stock, and to only announce new locos after development. Steam hasn't featured much since the takeover (V2 and Jubilee being the only completely new releases), and it seems to be a victim of this policy.
