Bachmann chassis never seen one of the new ones running. Where do you source them from ?

eBay mostly. I have been able to get a few for around £50 each. Given the £3 Mallard models I procured, the costs overall have remained still lower than the Railroad A4s and Hornby's main range. It is getting more difficult to get them however.

I have never seen any I presume buy it now pages ?

Parts :shock: everything is getting harder to source and more expensive. Not as much as a new C1 however :D :o :roll: :shock:

First up a fictional Shark Ballast Brake. As far as I can tell the actual LNER Version has never been made a kit ?.

One of two V2's on the go this is 3/4 done awaits sand fillers, then varnish,glazing and other detail parts.

Looking very nice Mick. It's a shame Bachmann didn't bother to line the wheels on the V2. I think I read somewhere the V2 wheels are not the correct size. I presume otherwise it would have been easy enough to substitute with A2 wheels.

Its a big shame they didn't do a huge amount more to the V2 as well as lining the wheels :shock: :shock:

The wheels are correct @ 24mm as to whether they could be changed with the A2 I won't be finding out . The Locos are Jim's and the other reason is the A2 is done in Darlington Green by Bachmann not Doncaster Green as the V2 :D
