Wagons galore. Correct though they are, I've just been struck by the very short-looking wheelbase of the Conflat V wagons.

19' body and a 9' wheelbase. You wonder how they thought that would be comfortable for the cattle.

Probably my last conversion based on the Hornby A3 , this time based on a battered NRM version body.
Boiler repainted and new lining ,Footplate and Splashers new lining, Banjo Dome , Single Chimney, Handrails to Smokebox after filling a large hole !, Vacumn Pipe and Ashpan Lever , Crew. Tender I had already repainted from a Hornby BR version.

Isinglass Models 3d print of a ex GNR Restaurant car .

First time i have built one of these coaches . This has taken over a month to build , running on D&S Bogies , MJT underframe other than the Isinglass provided Gas Tanks. Lanarkshire Models Roof vents.

Advertised as a easy build ? A lot of things to watch out for parts are very fragile, hence replacement parts used as listed above. I dropped mine onto the thick carpet and one end corner shattered !! One good thing is its built using superglue, so a easyish repair.
Very hard to see any printing defects on the sides at this time. I recomend priming the outside of the sides before building. I did'nt and found numerous lumps and bumps and lines on the sides after priming, that were then a real pain to get rid off as everything is very bendy/fragile at that point as unsupported until the Roof is glued on.

I am undecided if anymore will be built. Not helped by zero instructions with the kit, just a A4 print of the Isinglass Drawing is provided. The owner is very helpful providing a new roof, as the first one was slightly too short .

Possibly the best Isinglass exterior surface finish I've seen, if those photos reveal all.

Secret store of old D&S bogies Mick?

Graeme
It took over a month sorting this out , numerous lumps , bumps and "stringing" on the sides . There wasnt hardly any actual raised lines to remove. All very fragile as well. I prefer etched kits !!

The D&S Bogies were a e bay find , which I did'nt expect to win and did !! . I then had to find something to use them on !!
