Looking good so far Steve. Just as your progress has been restricted, I've been rather pre-occupied with matters other than the completion of my second ECJS 12-wheeler for some time now. Not just GC self-trimming tenders or resin casting for other people getting in the way either, as other pressing features of life have been asserting their priority-calls on my time.

John, it is a challenge (and I agree it is so in any scale) and I expect it will be a number of years before I have enough stock (and locos!) to run the layout at its full potential. However, this is all part of the fun!

It's been a little while since the last update, but things have been slowly moving forward. Here is the state of the Cambridge set at the moment.
Dia. 257 58'6" Brake Third No. 43057. Yet to be glazed and missing the 'Guard' legend as I've run out of decals.
Dia. 78T 58'6" Buffet Car No. 41552. I've still got to glaze this one as well and fabricate the gas tanks.
Dia. 248D Third. Glazed but awaiting final completion.
Dia. 257 Brake Third. Missing the LNER and Guard lettering and awaiting corridor bellows.
Overall I'm pretty pleased with how these are turning out.

Very nice. Are they all 58'6" diagrams?

Thanks Phil. The Dia 248D is a 52'6" coach while the Dia 164K Composite will, when designed and built, be a 61'6" coach. The other three in the set are 58'6" coaches.
