4 replacement cell boxes under construction to go under the Buffet Car

The Flat has had the deck painted, using Vallejo 72.034 Bonewhite as a base coat and whilst still wet
Vallejo 103German Camo Beige brushed on. Each plank is done seperatly.
The lashing rings have been added and the whole thing mounted on it's bogies.

Underframe Frigidare box made, and cell boxes and Frigidare box painted.
Roof, offset tank filler added and 2 of Mike Trices fan covers fitted, NUI models also make these.

Exactly so, the pump and heat exchanger, with the benefit of being in airflow for more efficient heat transfer whenever the train is moving,

I see it has already been answered, but I will give my input.

First a bit of History.
Frigidare is the name of an American Company set up by the Guardian Frigerator Company.
Frigidare was the first company to produce a self-contained refrigerator, over time we have
used the word fridge to refer to all refrigerators, a bit like Hoover.

So the Frigidare box is the housing fixed to the underframe to house the compressor and coil
for the operation of the on board fridge. all the GA drawings I have seen refer to this as the Frigidare box.

On with the underframe, the gas cyl's have been added, brass tube and a bit of n/s strip for the strapping.
The observant will note that I have only made 2, there sould be 4 fixed in pairs. When the cell boxes are fixed
you would not see the inside pair. Like wise I'm not sure I will fic the vac reservoirs as they are hidden behind the cell boxes.

Later in their life, Fridgidaire were taken over by General Motors and had at least one site in the UK, in Kingsbury NW9 London.

Well the Buffet Car has had the cell and Fridgidaire boxes fitted.
Plus the LNER Flat-T is finished. I finished it as the first of the LNER versions.

External vac pipe added to underframe, needs connections to reservoirs.
Bogies, steps added and one painted in some crap Humbrol satin enamel that was gloopy and took ages to dry even though it was a unopened tin, I should have used acrylics like I usually do or sprayed it it Halfords satin black. The other bogie rolled onto the floor and destroyed it's self, the cosmetic sides were super glued so sprang off and bent, the main frame twisted. So straighted and the sides soldered on a lot of solder used and still needs cleaning up. Seems to run ok now but it was a major rebuilding job, might have been easier if I had started again, but a challenge is a challenge.

The connections from the vac pipe to where the reservoirs should be have been added with 0.5mm NS wire and fixed in position with clear uv resin.
the connections on the vac pipe were made with a small blob of uv resin and then drilled to thke the NS wire.Most of the chairs are painted, a long and tedious task, and a couple of tables fixed.

No Chas I will not be installing lighting the painting is not that good as it's years old.
Anyway tables and seats are being installed, the seats will be at jaunty angles left by untidy passengers, till and water boilers are
3D prints. Some very old Precision paints LNER coach teak in a rusty tin with white lable was opened and after a quick stir the solebar and wheel centres were painted. The old stuff is much better than the modern paints.

Buffet car interior nearly complete, I seem to have lost a chair, so just one more to fit.

The ECJS Dia 79 has had the floorpan assembled, 2 layers of 1mm plastic glued together and Evergreen Z angle 754 added to form the solebars as per
Mr Kings orders.

Plus after 40 mins of work and a 247 Developments 3D printed LMS 12T Traction Truck built and primed.

Corrected 245 to 247 ...... call it old age.
