Dave, of this parish, supplied me with copies of the drawings for the Diagram 5 Horsebox.
Lettering positions on the sides as shown.

Thank you very much indeed.
Rather than take up space on Mick B's thread I will post my interpretation of this vehicle on my own 'Make do and Mend' thread.
I'm not sure I will manage to reproduce all the dimensions on the RH end.

What are marvelous help this forum is!
Thank you again.

The very small block of text is available from John Peck at Precision Labels. It's actually for the GN horsebox, but as it's illegible at all but the closest distances I use it indiscriminately.

8 years on !! wheres that gone . I havent a clue where I got the livery details from. Parkside actually now produce a decal set for the Horsebox , I have sheet somewhere , it varies again from the above photo and plan.

No problem posting on here anytime, it will be welcome .

I can't remember which set of transfers in the Parkside kit (they provided them for both LNER and BR) was ludicrously oversize, but one of them was.

Thank you. Sorry to appear incompetent - I do not seem able to find anything suitable under precisionlabels.com.
Am I looking in the right place?

I have found my LNER Version sheet ref TPC83 the decals appear ok in size , they include the data panel bottom right in the photos, the Return to Newmarket lettering might be a tad high perhaps.

Sadly I cannot find anyone selling them so far. They were made by Modelmaster , he now only sells BR versions for the Parkside kits. The Peco site doesnt say anything about decals at all , as to whether they are included or not.

Would Precision still sell the LNER CCT decals from a few years ago, you originated Jonathan?

Best bet is probably to drop him an email - they were a commission so he may not have listed them (although he does list some of the others I commissioned from him). If i remember correctly the sheet also has the lettering you need to complete a Chivers bogie CCT.

I'm sure he'd do that one again for you. I don't have any left, I gave the last ones I had to Peter (of Peter's Spares).

A overdue update on a few builds of this year.

Thompson Coaches based on the old Bachmann version

Comet sides on this Compositte. Please note I had other Comet Sides, on testing against the latest Bachmann Thomspons ,the sides are about 1mm too low. Not a lot but would be a pain to correct. Mine were therfore sold on.
