I was wondering if anyone knows of any other pictures of this loco, as i'm thinking of buying of Hornby Class 'D' in LNER black, and converting it to a Y4. Can anyone help?

If you go to the Great Eastern Railway Society web site:

http://www.gersociety.org.uk

you will find info about the class.

Lyn Brooks, the GERS Loco co-ordinator produced a 4mm scale drawing in the early days of the Society and you will find a John Gardner drawing also available on the web site.

Paul - if the link is the one right at the bottom of the Locomotives section it only leads on to some bloke who collects phones.

If that isn't it, I can't find it.
