Can I ask please, how the chassis for your K2 was attached to the body given that trying to use screws between the w halves of the chassis would result in a short.

I used a V3 chassis to create another V2 locomotive as I had a Bachmann V2 body which just needed the chassis so I modified it to fit the V2 body and I must admit it does run, but like the original V2s, it needs some added weight but the problem is, where to fit the weight without shorting it out.

The body has a fixing point on the back where it can be screwed into via the plastic keeper plate on the bottom of the chassis. In getting the wires from the now isolated motor to back to the decoder in the chassis I took that off the body as it was in the way. So at the moment the body is just a snug fit!
