I got this DJH? Q7 from an auction and it originally had a tender drive, I have now built a new PDK tender for it and work progresses:

Thank you for posting.
I had to do quite a lot of work to my DJH Q7 and my A8 (converted from a DJH H2).
I haven't taken any recent pictures (and no sunshine today!)

If you want to see what I did, (and I am sure you are a better modeller than I am!)
Pages 1 to 3 of my thread are relevant: .....here.....

A bit later I did replace the A8 cab roof with a thinner version in brass - which helps with the height issue.
If you can work out how to fit the A8 with brakes I would be very interested to see how you do it!

Good morning (wet in Surrey)

Wizard models sell mainly trains etched of various brake gear.

It will be a tight squeeze getting the shoes between the wheels. The A8 had a 6'6+6'6 wheelbase which doesn't leave a lot of room.

Having fun with a pair of NIU models U19 snowploughs, I think they look quite good, I have a pair of U20's to do at some time as well:

Latest Auction find, an ex ECJS (1903) 45' Clerestory Luggage Brake built by Steve Banks for P4, I have now adjusted the back to back for my use and I had to replace some cheese head bolts holding the body onto the chassis with countersunk ones as the narrower wheel sets caused some rubbing.

Steve had fitted kadees on the coaches and these line up exactly with how I have built my coaches for the 1924 Scotsman which is a bonus.

There were 3 other coaches by Steve Banks in the lot, one of which had appeared in the modelling press and I'll put up pics as I adjust the wheel sets.

I had this Mousa Models GNR D.129 Composite in my build pile for quite a time now and thought i'd give it a go as I had never done a resin kit before, it turned out quite nice:

Thank you, just been going through my files and It looks like I have another 96 coaches and NPCS to build, me thinks I'm over doing it a bit.

Will finish the Dia 40 first and then I have a Dia 7 to do for the rake.
