Suggestions for 4mm loco-tender electrical connection

Post by clive0r »

I've put pick-ups on a tender but haven't been able to make a plug/socket combination that is small enough and stays together. Does anybody have a source for a suitable manufactured item?

For N scale, I just solder them. If your drawbar is conductive and it isn't electrically isolated, then you can use this instead of one of the wires. This is how the Farish tender pickups work.
