Connoisseur Models OO chassis for J50

Post by mimbletude »

Connoisseur seem to be concentrating on O gauge these days. Does anyone know whether it is still possible to buy the old 00 chassis kit for the Lima J50?

I don't know about Connoisseur's but Puffers (Liverpool?) used to do a J50 chassis kit...

Connoisseur don't list any OO items in their current catalogue or website:

Like most out-of-production kits and locos, you might get luck on EBay or at shows.

In 4mm, I built one of his J50's and an ACE models version..... his was by far the best and he also supplied me a number of components for the ACE model.... couple of years ago now but I would think a ring may be an idea. A very approachable person.

That's who I was thinking of when I said Puffers! No wonder I couldn't find them on the web!
