Dapol announce Gresley Coaches in N Gauge!

Post by richard »

Stop Press press release is currently on their contact page:

http://www.dapol.co.uk/contact.html

Instead of releasing Staniers before the end of the year, they're releasing Gresleys!

There's also a poll for the initial livery: teak, maroon, or blood&custard.
(go on - vote teak :-) )

Good on Dapol for listening to customer feedback! Gresleys are one of the big holes in N gauge - lots of locos to pull them, but no decent stock unless you want to pay ridiculous prices for out of production Minitrix examples.

Of course I voted Teak! What else?

This is wonderful news. It means I don't have to fight 'malcrosby7' for them at nearly £30 a piece (and lose!) on ebay any more!

Dapol have released some CAD images of the Gresleys. See the April 7th item on the news page:

Shame about those rapidos, but I guess they don't have any choice for British N at the moment.
