Blue Pacifics.

Post by neilgow »

The Grest Western Society at Didcot hosted a big blue engine day today.

Here are four images of the two masterpieces.

Hi Neil

I was there with my good lady, had a great time and it's the first time that I've been so close to a pacific while actually moving, the ground actually shook as SNG slowly passed by.... very impressive, a great day had by me and more importantly my wife too...:)

Thanks for posting the pics. :)

I clean forgot it was on - had intended to go myself.

Of all the BR liveries the blue is actually quite handsome - or at least it suits LNER locos.

Pity that weather didn't brighten up a bit for you.

You missed a great day out and it was wonderful to stand so close to those 4-6-2's.
