Loco named Impala on the NYMR

I have today, as a birthday treat, been hauled by a loco named Impala on the NYMR. I looked up the LNER encyclopaedia and could find no trace of this as a preserved loco. Is it an original LNER loco? I enjoyed the day anyway.

Welcome to the forums, I was in Sir Nigel's cab only two days ago
The locomotive is ex-LNER Thompson B1 No.61264, currently masquerading as 61002 Impala. 61002 was the last locomotive to haul a service from Whitby to Malton, hence the temporary choice of Impala for the NYMR's 40th anniversary

Thanks 36C - conundrum solved.
I used to work on Sir Nigel when it was stored at Philadelphia colliery sheds with the A4 Locomotive Preservation Trust back in the early 70s. Good to see it back in more regular service, only a steam special or two per year back then.
