There are a lots of b/w photographs here from the early years of electrification, but with many older vehicles still in use.

Some excellent close-ups of both passenger and goods stock, and a old Thompson non-gangwayed compo being used as a departmental vehicle.
The films are numbered and the index gives a brief description of the location of shots, although the photographer returned to the USA after film 1415, it would seem.

Fascinating stuff. The shot of 31411 with what looks like a Parly set had me bolt upright in my chair.
That is a FP headboard in action and one that was never used again. How do I know this? It's in my garage, still with the same paint job!! I took it away on the last day of Clarence Yard.
I had never ever seen a picture of it in use on that special, until now.
