The call for a fast track overhaul of the J21 in another thread reminded me of some photos which I took in Darlington works yard in the early '60s.
They are of the last two J21s in existence, at that time. I believe that 5099 was being cannibalised on behalf of 5033.
They were notable locos, I look forward to 5033 running again.
