Occasionally (in fact, very few times) one comes across a photo so remarkable that it would be a crime not to share it with others.

Look if they still hark back to the stage coaches, ie luggage on the roofs with the sheets to cover them over rolled up at one end. What will happen if they try to light the oil lamps with the sheet over the top?

You will need your own section soon Malcom as you are taking this one over keep up the good work.

I think I have the top photo of York Wall in a book - probably a Ken Hoole one. I've definitely seen it before. The location is now a grassy bank with some flower beds iirc.

First pic has been in print a couple of times and i like the double headed NER train.
