Carols from Kings College now on BBC2, Malcolm but I expect they will be on again next year :)

Interesting pics - note with the top one how alchoholic drinks seem the best seller and how tiny the buffet section itself is and note the all electric kitchen in the third, which required to be plugged in to huge cables during turnrounds at principal stations and then unplugged again before departure (by electricians, so I've been told). There was some gizmo which prevented a vacuum being created by the driver if a plug was still left in but electricity as a form of power for the kitchen had several drawbacks for the cook. They were a bit of a pain, anthracite ditto, so made bottled propane gas seem a great idea! I'm sure the food hygeine people of today would fail the kitchen anyway.....
