1782 Loch Eil is climbing towards Corrour on Treigside. What looks to me like a triple tank gasholder wagon immediately behind the tender, possibly of GNR origin as some of these went to SSA.
Next shot of 1789 Loch Laidon is a down train at Lochailort
4700 Loch Lomond is pictured at Mallaig, with a NB Sixfish immediately behind, then what is probably an NER fish van. There's another NB Sixfish to left shot, standing on the ramp up to the coal stage.
How sure are you of the "between Crianlarich + Tyndrum" location for 1774 Loch Garry & 1786? Looks to me very much the approach to Glenfinnan station after the viaduct has ben crossed.
I've seen some of these before, but any views of the West Highland are always much appreciated - thank you.

Excellent, more West Highland treats!
71 to 74 are all at Fort William.
You have 68 as "61791 Loch Laggan Fort William c1957", but in fact she's on the turntable road at Mallaig - you can make out the jib of one of the railway cranes protruding above the smokebox - whilst 65 shows Loch Lomond in front of the water tank at Mallaig.

Excellent detailed views of some locomotives in this series when at full enlargement.
I particularly like the picture of 61784 at Arisaig (
https://railway-photography.smugmug.com ... -2jQRr8B/A). I suspect this may have been described as a PW train due to the presence of an elderly passenger vehicle mid-formation, but I offer the suggestion that this may instead be the regular morning Down goods from Fort William, and that the passenger vehicle is the scholars' coach, which I understand was normally returned to Mallaig by this service. The presence of two steel minerals at the rear of the train isn't something I'd expect to find in a PW train's composition, strengthening my suspicion that this was the regular goods working.

1300 at unknown seems odd. Well known image from Barnard Castle.
Day section being hauled with night section in background.

61942 has had the smokebox rivet heads either polished or picked out with paint.
