Two images of No 9 westbound through Swindon with a Cathedrals Express, heading for Cardiff. Seen here at 1145 hours.
Does anyone know how long Bittern will be in storage at Margate?

strange to see Swindon with OHLE going up
Sorry no idea ref 60019 so it could be a while after 2019 before we see an A4 out and about on the mainline in the proper colour ...and I dont mean blue

I suspect the next A4 back out on the network will be 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley. Hopefully as you say in BR green.

Sorry to say it will be BR BLUE....AGAIN
So its being preserved AGAIN in its preservation era colours
its never ran as a Green 60007 since purchase in 1966
