Tynemouth Station, passing through...

Took a few piccies with the i-Phone of Tynemouth Station yesterday before my walk as it was quite deserted.
The structure still looks great and in fair nick.....To my eyes anyway!

If you'd seen it ten years ago you wouldn't have thought so! The station was restored in 2012 at a cost of several million, and now looks glorious...

I well remember it as it was - I used to go to the Sunday Market regularly around the turn of the Century. Rarely use the Station
these days - I usually use the bus, even though I have a Gold Card for travel on the Metro.
