LNER loco 1690

Hi,
I have been watching a series on Great British Railway Journeys with host ex politician Michael Portillo.

While visiting Nottingham, he covered the Boots company, which used to arrange day trips for its employees.
He mentioned the year 1924 (and the Empire Exhibition) in conjunction with the attached photo.

So I guess it could have been shot at Nottingham, or at Marylebone.
At first glance I assumed the loco was a B17, but this is too early if the photo was 1924. Then again, the photo could have been borrowed from another trip for a Wembley final.
Anyway I thought it may be of interest.

The loco is GNR 1690. It's a Gresley K2 Mogul, one of the Kitson batch, built July 1921. It became 4690 in September 1925, so the Wembley Exhibition fits. I'd be surprised if this isn't Nottingham Victoria. It surely wouldn't have gone to Marylebone anyway and suggest it went to Wembley Stadium via the GW/GC joint line.

Thank you Kudu. That is in all, an interesting photo.
The K2 had useful size drivers adequate for passenger trains.
And no doubt it was still in GNR green at this photo perhaps.
