A must watch
Just found this gem, if you don't look at another post I make don't miss this one. Its got bits of everything in it including a couple of excellent shots which are the last two scenes. Modellers there are lots of good detail and finally at least two of our members are featured see if you can spot them.

What a wonderful film. If you trawl through the BFI site you will find film shot inside Doncaster Works.

Thanks, Muzza, but ''Error loading media: File could not be played.''
I guess the railway gods are not keen on Canada.

Doesn't look like I'll get to see this one, then. So in the immortal words of Battery Major Tudor Bryn "Shut Up" Williams: "Oh well, too bad, never mind."

LOL! Micky. These days I'm as removed from dear old Stevenage as Langley Troughs . Still, the missus and I might be over for a visit next year. I never travel without my iPad these days, so I'll cop the film then. Have a good 'un!
Re: A must watch
Interesting to see three vans coupled outside brake van, never seen this myself. Was it a common practice on certain lines?

Re: A must watch
You could have as many as you want behind the van as long as the pipe is throughout and and the last vehicle is braked. The equation gets more complicated when through piped vehicles are behind the brake van as the proportion of braked vehicles had to be capable of stopping the piped vehicles.
