Old Cine films by Allan Birkin

A couple of old Cine films taken by one of our late members, Allan Birkin, have just been posted on Youtube

Taken in the late 60s
Scrap Trains on the York - Hull line between York and Stamford Bridge.

What a wonderful old passenger vehicle in the PW train seen a few times.

Sadly, I am not experienced enough to recognise what it might be, but I wonder what became of it?

Thanks for the links, although the first one shows a very depressing scene which was commonplace in those days.

Thank you Bryan for drawing these films to our attention.

It brought back memories of Alan to me. I still have the excellent leather guards bag that he made for me even though it is a long time since I did any guarding duties.

It was also sad to see the demise of the Beverley - York line but good that Alan recorded some of the last activities thereon.

The coach looks to be a Great Eastern corridor coach possibly a Brake third corridor?
