GNR Patrick Stirling locos

Evening All

I have added the 1st collection of the revamped LNER steam galleries featuring in date order of the Loco designers
The 1st collection features the GNR locos of Patrick Stirling, majority of the photos are of preserved No.1

Saw the Stirling Single today - the high tender seems, to me, to completely change the appearance of the locomotive - and for the better

Yes i always thought they looked better with the high sided GNR tender and with the added steam collecting dome on top of the boiler barrel i didn't think they looked to bad from the photographs i've seen of them.
