Just been sent this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHhL3xB ... ture=share well worth watching and plenty of interest to modellers. I must be getting old I have 3 of the locos featured underlined. Does anyone have any more info about the wooden Alumina wagons? Oh and I have a model of the Banker in the first few minutes.

I assume these are the wooden covered hoppers built from NER 20 ton wooden hoppers (P6 or similar)?
If so, they're in Tatlow, and Slaters produce a plastic kit for 7mm scale.
I thought it looked an interesting prototype so I did look into them more. They were only ever used on the alumina traffic from Burntisland to the aluminium works at Fort William. As such few were built (I've seen an estimate of 20) and they never went elsewhere - so I can't justify one in the NER Southern District (where my growing collection of 7mm stuff is based).
One wonders why Slaters produce a kit of such a restricted prototype?

Thanks Richard the film does mention Burntisland Fort William traffic so I assume you are correct.
