I treated myself to the evening event at Shildon on Monday. Here are a few representative shots.
The floodlighting was good and we were told not to use flash. Wind direction meant steam was drifting from the 3 locos across the line up, making it something of a challenge.

Seeing them all together just emphasizes how totally wrong the lining is on Union of South Africa. Even the parabolic curve on Bittern is out. How can they get this so wrong when there are examples and photos to follow?
