Scan number 018 is a little out of the area of the remainder! It is of D31 9312 leaving Wall on the Border Counties line taken in 1938.

Ay up!

Scan 2 is a Midland Deeley 2P, probably unsuperheated.

Scan 6 is a new 'un on me. Stirling?

Scan 12 is a veritable hive of activity. the 4F is an early one in as built condition, Deeley tender and all! Immediately behind her is a Kirtley double frame 2-4-0 but the tender first engine could be a rarity. It looks like one of the class 4 simples, built for the Settle and Carlisle line, or possibly a class 3.

Sorry I can't add to the knowledge on the LNER machines but my education is lacking....
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!
