Found this collection today held at the Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle.
Most of them are local period shots but there are some railway shots of Sandsend, Kirkby Stephen Stainmore and South Bank.
Shame about the price of them but great quality.

I have seen a number of these pics before but im impressed by the NER train on Sandsend Viaduct as you say price is a bit steep.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.
