Help identifying railway coach

Hello folks,

I wonder if anyone can help me identify this old railway coach, located on an abandoned farm in the north-east of Scotland?

I'm pretty sure it's LNER and looks like a brake/non-corridor configuration, but I would like to know exactly what it is, and ideally see some original photos of the type when in service.

Probably a Gresley Brake Third. If you have the grid ref I will look through my listings of Scottish bodies and see if it is recorded. Might be a vehicle that I have visited and parts off in the past.

Here's a link to a page with the grid reference (NK0462) and also shows the coach in relation to the farm buildings. It was taken in 2006 and shows just how much the coach has deteriorated in the intervening 3 years.

I am afraid we (the LNERCA) never found the LNER number for this carriage so cannot verify year of build or diagram number. We definately have it listed as a Brake Third. When we first visited this carriage was in excellent condition with all the compartment builkheads still present. The farm that it is part of has been derelict for years and I believe that Quainton Road guys may actually have purchased the body in order to remove parts from it back in the 1980's.

I think this coach survives at Bere Ferrus museum.
