ps jeanie deans, built by lner with a very shallow draught for working out of helensburgh and craigedorran on the clyde ferries ,scrapped mid 60s

easy ,the bridge is a giveaway but i do ,not no what the occasion was. iIused to enjoy trips on the jeaniie deans [lovely sausage rolls]

It was 1981 and she was in the Tyne doing short charters along the Northumberland Coast.

Interesting shot of naval vessel F126 HMS Plymouth 1961 -1988,a Type 12 frigate tied up at the quayside further along. Damaged in action in 1982 in the Falklands and presently preserved ,though the last I heard she was still seeking a permanent home.

Malcolm, I'm not sure if this is the place but if you do requests is there any chance of some GC 4-6-0s please? A Sam Fay or a B3 would do nicely. Thanks.
