Pic 4 definitely several hundred yards north of, as said, Potters Bar; the trains being on the Up lines : 'Somersault' signals' wide bracket structure did belong to PB Box - his 'outer' "First" Homes I think; and the colour-light signal was the Down Main Starter, which was an example of the LNER's 'colour-light with the maximum amount of mechanical mechanism/components' affairs, also acting as Distant signal for the stop signal at Hawkshead (about 300 yards south of Brookmans Park station.JASd17 wrote:Photo 4 does look like the approach to Potter's Bar with an Up train on the slow line.
