What a superb collection of photographs you have on the Flickr site. Thanks very much for sharing. I can get a much more accurate feel for what the railways (and LNER in particular) were like in my grandfather's day.
John.

Thank you John for your feedback and I'm so pleased it gave you a feel of what the railways were like in your grandfather's day. New images always added so link the page and come back soon. Kind regards Simon

It's a shame but i can never access any pictures that are posted on Flickr cos Network Rail in there wisdom has a Bar On This Site for some reason maybe cos it's a unsecure site probably??. :(

Hi Mick,
If you cannot see the images on my Flickr site then you can always visit my page on the fabulous David Hey site.

http://www.davidheyscollection.com/page73.htm

Not all are posted on here especially the latest ones posted on Flickr but still some real nice early LMS,LNER glass plates and 35mm slides. I'm also thinking of creating my own webpage to list the collection on still looking at the best way to do that either Zenfolio or Smug Smug.

Cheers, Simon
