Hi
I'm wondering if anyone knows which LNER locos (ie. Pre-war era LNER) apart from Mallard had the double blastpipe?
Thanks

Re: LNER A4s with Double Blastpipe
As fitted with double Kylchap from new :-
No. 4901 Capercaillie ~ later BR No. 60005 Sir Charles Newton
(4468 Mallard - as you know)
4902 Seagull ~ later BR No. 60033
4903 Peregrine ~ later BR No.60034 Lord Faringdon
All others** had double chimney fitted between 1957 - 1960
The 'lost' A4, 4469 Gadwall/Sir Ralph Wedgwood never had a double chimney. (as far as I know)
** The above details pertain only to LNER A4s -- I haven't checked other LNER locos so there may be others(?)
