Railway Families
This is not really an LNER question BUT I am the Great Grand Niece of William P Allen. I was looking for my ancestry knowing about ASLEF and William P Allen and up came 60114 both the number and the user name. I have photos of the engine, together with infor from ASLEF. I suspect you are a descendent from Aunt Vi and Roger. ~I am Vic Smiths daughter. Can we be contacted offline please Mr Officials! I have put as much info as I dare to show I am legit.

Re: Railway Families
I wonder if you may have meant this as a PM, private message, but it seems to have appeared on the main pages.
Welcome anyway. It must be great to have such an illustrious ancestor in the family.
