I was wondering if anyone could possibly help with information on the shades of Green & Cream paint specified for Tourist Stock livery?
They don't appear to be in the BS381c range, and if anyone could help I'd be very grateful.

Green would appear to be the same as loco green but the cream I don't know although the Sentinel Steam railcars were the same livery.

Phoenix Precion Paints list paint for Tourist Stock

The Precision (now Phoenix Precision) ranges were matched very carefully in the mid 70s to existing samples and known specifications. I would therefore rely on their LNER Tourist Green and Cream as being as near to the original as is going to be possible 75+ years later! Basically the finish was lcoc Green and the first sets were produced under Doncaster, but the later NE area batch may have been slightly different - i.e. Doncaster/Darlington.

Paint spec from a dear late friend of the family stated that Humbrol 41 Ivory for the cream, and loco green for the Tourist Green was close enough. When my dad built his Sentinel railcar, he placed a model of the gent in with the driver, because this had been his favourite place to be when travelling. Rest in peace, Mr Thomlinson.

I'll have to buy a couple of cans of Phoenix Precision paints I think, and have them matched up - I'm actually wanting the paint for my kitchen (Long story, but I'm completely doing my house up inside, and would like Railway Companies' colours). I'll get the colours matched up and see what I can get my hands on.
