60009 test runs - a parabolic lining query

Is it just me or is the parabolic lining wrong? There's a lot of photo evidence on google to suggest it is :(

Photos of other A4's show the lining should curve round before the end of the handrail, which it clearly dosen't do on 60009. Oh dear

If 60010's parabolic lining is to be taken as a proper 'base' then 60007's is a bit too far forward along the top edge, whilst 60008, 4464 and 4468 are correct.

I hope she's corrected, because it's not just us on here that will notice it

That's good then. Any in company discussions as to correcting the lining after testing?

I'm starting to like the different parabolic lining actually, along with the plaque it makes her just that little bit more unique :)

Is it written / Drawn in an official LNER / BR publication of how the lining should be?
Rather than "It doesn't look right".
Could it be that the lining here is correct?

Before anyone says anything I have no involvement just playing Devils Advocate.

Had to save the image (from wikimedia files) as the link wouldn't work, but here's black and white proof:

I thought the parabolic lining was changed with the advent of BR in any event? Or have I made that up? :?

I certainly thought there was a difference between the shapes of the LNER and BR parabolic lining out. I cannot now remember where I read it.

It is great to see 60009 out and about, whatever the state of the lining, though I must confess it looks odd to me.

Kudos to Crewe for getting the job done and so swiftly.
