LNER locomotives on the Web

I have stumbled upon a site clled - http://www.glowimages.com. This appeared to be the usual photo image site but, out of curiosity, I searched for "Darlington". I was surprised to find a large number of LNER locomotive photos across many classes. Clicking on the thumnail, not the lightbox image, brings up the same image with a magnifying glass icon. Clicking this brings up a large very clear image.
Searches for other locations might yield similar results.

This is just for interest - there are many images of A3's that I hadn't seen before. Worth having a look.

I typed in London North Eastern Railway and got a result of 600+ photos mostly from the 50s and 60s.

The reading of intelligent matter such as British Railways Illustrated is always dangerous.

Anyway, have you any idea how long it took me to untie my fingers after that?
