The King does look good, the last time I saw it it was in Woodhams yard. I thought its next movements would be to the cutters torch. On the observation coach, when was the "beever tail rebuilt?

The Observation Saloons were rebuilt at Cowlairs in 1959, according to 'Gresley's Coaches', Harris, 1973.

G'Day Gents
Nice pictures, like the beavertail (pity it was rebuilt).
When I see the Blue King, I expect to see a yellow smokebox and a TOP's number

The other beavertail is in the process of being rebuilt to original condition at Barrow Hill. 'Sawdust' who quite often posts on here did the bodywork receonstruction and I believe the next stage in the project is getting all the curved glass manufactured.
