The “all members” note from John Atkinson reminded me that I was still a member here having forgotten all about it.
So having remembered I thought I would make a request based on phone call I had some time ago.
Because I was searching for some pictures I was contacted by a guy who said he couldn’t help me – but could I help him!
It seems he is collecting pictures of LNER locos and has missed out on just a few (if this is all he wants he must have a wonderful collection – but he was a bit cagey about revealing the full contents). Anyway I promised to help and I have searched various other sources – but not tried you guys – So.....
Does anyone have pictures of the following LNER locos??
B12 : 1548 & 1551
D29 : 2415
D40 : 2266 2280
D41 : 2237 62238 2244 2253 2254

Judging by the numbering we are talking about the period just after WWII
(And why did this guy call me – well I am advertising for pictures of the following TOPS numbered locos – so if you have one let me know
