V2

Post by Loco »

Hi Listmates

Am looking for a works drawing of a V2 (Green Arrow) pony truck.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

Best regards

Search Engine at the NRM's yer bunnyfor this one.

Incidentally, if you're modelling in 4mm the Comet pony truck is very close to the original.
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!

Loco,

Depends on which one you are looking for, the original swing link of the later side control design. RCTS LNER Locomotive Part 6 - B, I think, has the details and comparative sketches. You could look for drawings O339 and O628 from the Doncaster list at the NRM

try this page http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/a2a/ ... &cid=-1#-1 Though there's probably more information than you need there.
