As often happens, whilst researching for one particular topic, another interesting topic pops up. In 1926, British Trade Exhibition Trains were to tour the country, "whereby British (Home and Colonial) commodities and manufactures will be housed in sets of three special railway vehicles, which each of the four principal railway companies are providing, to tour their respective systems and be exhibited at about 300 selected stations in the course of some twelve months."
Would anyone happen to know which 'special vehicles' were used by the LNER?
As ever, many thanks in advance for any information offered.
