I am looking for the holder of the book...

Post by Krynio2 »

Hi

I am looking for the owner of a book entitled. "Harmonious Blacksmith Robinson". I need a drawing of one locomotive, specifically LNER B6/8N 4-6-0. If someone can manage to send a photo of the said train, I will be grateful indebted.

Regards, Krynio.

The book is available to buy, here for instance:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Harmonious-Bla ... 0903881039

By the way, the 8N or B6 is not a "train", it's a locomotive or engine. A train is a combination of vehicles, which may be hauled by a locomotive.

The Harmonious Blacksmith is indeed a useful paperback. If it's specifically the 8N/B6 you want then Isinglass drawing No 476 drawn to 4mm. This drawing also shows both types of cab.

Further, I've just looked, and I'm sure that Atlantic can help further. Neildimmer posted some photos of B6s, I believe it was around February 2022.
