Hi all,
On the LNER Encyclopedia page for the LNER J68's/GER C72's, there is a point where it states:
"During the 1920s, some of the shunters moved to East Anglia country sheds, but some moved further afield including Worksop, Ardsley, and Boston."
However, digging through the railukinfo and brdatabase sites, I have been unable to find any loco numbers which were allocated to Worksop or Ardsley.
I am just trying to find out if anyone has any information on these allocations? I am looking at getting an LNER-era J68, and would like to have it numbered as one of the Worksop or Ardsley ones. But my searches for the correct running numbers so far have drawn a blank.
Thanks
