P2 2004 at Unknown Location

The location of the P2 photo shown is described as unknown here:-

and in a booklet about the P2s published by the Gresley Society.
The photo was taken at Retford as can be seen on the other two photos. These are from 'The Book of the Great Northern Part 2' by Peter J. Coster P192/3.
The loco is at the outer (western)face of the island platform facing north.

That seems to be true. Careful scrutiny of the signals behind 2004 does suggest that the heel of each arm is separated from the spectacle, as would be the case with somersault signals.
Is this really the first time that the location has been identified? Is the loco on a running-in turn after repair? It does not appear to me to be in pristine new condition but it is well away from its normal operating area.

The location of this photograph was identified in the Gresley Observer in 2013. It was thought to be a running-in turn heading back to Doncaster.
