I was hoping someone on this forum could possibly help. Does anyone know (or better have photos of) the lettering on the ends of BR Mk1 Suburbans running out of King’s Cross in the 1950s and early ‘60s? We are trying to put the correct lettering on the ends of our Suburban Brake Third on the North Norfolk Railway.
Thanks in advance
Steve

There is an "io" group dedicated to BR Coaching stock with Robert Carroll as the owner.
https://brcoachingstock.groups.io/g/main
There was a publication on the group produced by Peter Neville that detailed the demise of the Mk 1 Non Corridor Suburban's, I couldn't find it when I looked this evening but again is was for the stock in the 1970's. A question on Roberts group may help you for your period.
