In one of the shots at speed, the cylinder drain cocks seem to be open. Would that be normal? At about 6.40.

Only one blowing, looks like the valve has stuck open. When you opened the cylinder cocks you actually opened 6 valves, one at each end of the 3 cylinders.

I suppose that is a much more impressive looking concourse than KX 65447.

Also some shenanigans at Edinburgh Waverley, with other services being substituted - note the sudden appearance of BR Standard stock
