Ay up!
As a teenager, I repainted a Lima J50 (moulded in a revolting pink colour that was supposed to be LMS Red!) in BR black, late crest and improved it beyond all recognition as a result.
Problem is, in my ignorance I put the number where Darlington works put it - under the crest. Now, I do know a Jinty (47482, on my list of Locos I Must Model!) got this but did any J50s ever receive this treatment?
If not, no big deal. I plan on leaving it well alone anyway but just as a matter of interest/
