Colour of Splasher tops on A3's in the early 1930's

I have also looked again and there is variation all the over the place with the colours, most are B&W but are pretty clear from the shading whether they are i,e black or green.


As usual find a photo of your loco is the answer !! :shock: :D

As it is 2750 that you want specifically. There is a nice photo, by W J Reynolds, in RCTS Locos of the LNER Part 1, figure 49.

Looks like Green to me in that picture :shock:
